Objectives and Activities

Explore LIFT's planned investments, research, training and digital tools for sustainable tourism across the border.

What LIFT aims to achieve

LIFT aims to strengthen the region's tourism offer, support local businesses and encourage more sustainable ways to explore. The project connects investment in visitor facilities with the people, knowledge and information needed to make a shared tourism product useful.

Investment and cooperation

The work is organised around two connected strands: improving tourism experiences along the Low-carbon Infinity Trail, and developing and promoting the shared LIFT tourism product. The activities below describe the project work plan; they are not a list of completed or open facilities.

Project activities

Each card states what the activity involves and how far it has progressed. Planned work is not described as finished.
