Make time for Berovo
Berovo’s cycling appeal lies around its lake and in the forests of the Maleshevo Mountains. Off-road riding here can be part of a few days spent exploring the countryside, walking and enjoying meals made with local produce. Berovo Lake is a natural starting point, with villas, guesthouses and hotels in the surrounding area, while the town offers another base for your stay. Bring the mountain bike for forest outings and leave time for the lake, nearby villages and a relaxed meal at the end of the day.

Practical information
- Pack for changing mountain weather. Check the conditions of the route you intend to ride; do not assume there is a continuous cycle path around the lake.
